*About Campaign Cash Each attendee will get a ticket for a drawing, which will be held during the campaign school. The first place winner of the drawing, who must be present to win, will receive a campaign contribution of $500.00 to be paid to the Middlesex County Republican campaign of their choice – a municipal, county or legislative campaign. There will be a second place winner of $250.00 and two third place winners of $125.00 each. To make sure every campaign has even more of a chance to win a contribution, no campaign will be permitted to win more than 1 campaign contribution, so 4 campaigns will not only learn the best way to win, but will also come away with a campaign contribution.

    At our Next Meeting:
    Tuesday, June 20, 2017
    7 PM

    East Brunswick Public Library
2 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick

    Our Special Guest Speaker:
    Ashley Carter, Director of Coalitions
    Independent Women’s Forum

While women in America today have mre opportunities than ever before, significant challenges and hardships remain. Today, millions of American women are jobless; their labor force participation rate is at its lowest level since 1988. Many women aren’t working because they can’t find jobs that pay enough or offer the hours and flexibility that they need. Moreover, everyday living expenses – the cost of goods, services, home, and energy – have steadily increased leaving families stretching their budgets further.

The Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) recently released Working for Women: A Modern Agenda for Improving Women’s Lives. Ms. Carter will present the report and its agenda of policy reforms to improve the workplace, and help more women and their families thrive without growing government.

Also, Ms. Carter is the only Republican elected to citywide office in Washington, DC. She will speak about her experience as a Republican woman who has run and won a local office in a very “blue” town.
